The silver and purple graduation cords can be left as a double cord that would be braided together with 3 ropes (two ropes would be silver and one rope would be purple) or if you would like to add and additional color in with the silver and purple you could make a triple cord, this would also have 3 ropes braided together (but would be one rope of each color).
